Artwork represents families travelling all over the countryside. It has inspired us to paint our travels all around the Kimberley and Pilbara and over to other parts of the South and Eastern states. The large circles represents all the communities and towns we have visited. It shows all the beautiful scenery we have experienced such as water, hills, bush fruits, rock pools, sand dunes, rivers, beaches, wildflowers. It also shows the journey paths that we have taken. It has also been special to paint my eldest son’s journey to the US with his friend. We love our travelling and sight seeing and it has been special to do this huge collaboration with my family and tell a story.
